‘Hussein Who Said No’ to hit global VoD

Iranian movie ‘Hussein Who Said No’ is trying to hit global VoD market.

Directed and written by Ahmad Reza Darvish, the crew is trying to screen globally on the VoD markets.

The historical religious Iranian film narrates Battle of Karbala on Day of Ashura and tells the uprising of the third Muslim Imam, Hussein ibn Ali (AS).

Babak Hamidian, Anoushirvan Arjmand, Pouria Poursorkh and Mahtab Keramat are among actors on the cast list.

British-Indian editor Tariq Anwar was in charge of editing the film.

The flick won notable prizes at Fajr International Film Festival, including the awards for Best Director as well as Best Supporting Actor (Babak Hamidian).

The impressive biopic has grabbed awards at several international film events, including Baghdad International Film Festival.
